Course Description
(Same as Psychiatry M180A.) Lecture, three hours. Requisites: courses 10, 100A, and 127 or 130 or 133A through 133I. Corequisite: course M181A. Limited to Immersion Program students. Presentation of concepts, issues, and research techniques in the area of mental retardation. Biological, psychological, and community questions concerning causes and treatment of developmental disabilities, as well as systems for care and training of retarded individuals. Lectures, directed reading, and discussion. P/NP or letter grading.
