Course Description
Lecture, three hours. Requisites: courses 85 or 120A, and 115. Designed for juniors/seniors. Introduction to neural basis of learning and memory. Topics include cellular and molecular mechanisms of learning and memory, human amnesia and hippocampus, working memory and prefrontal cortex, procedural learning, emotional memory systems, and memory consolidation. P/NP or letter grading.
